Just before the trial to remove Nueces County District Attorney Mark Gonzalez, he publicly announced his resignation.

Now it is up to Governor Abbott to appoint his replacement.
We want to hear from you, the People of Nueces County!

How would you like to see the Governor appoint a new District Attorney for Nueces County?

I prefer the Governor appoints a Republican who has announced they are running for Nueces County District Attorney.

I prefer the Governor appoints a Republican who is not running for Nueces County District Attorney.
