2026 SD Conventions
Nueces County Republican Party
Senatorial District Conventions (SD 20 & SD 27)
The Nueces County Republican Party will host the 2026 Senatorial District Conventions for SD 20 and SD 27 on Saturday, March 28th.
These conventions are the next step in the Republican Party grassroots process following the Precinct Conventions and provide Republicans an opportunity to help shape the future of the Party.
During the convention, delegates will:
• Elect delegates and alternates to the 2026 Texas Republican State Convention (>>>Application<<<)
• Debate and vote on Party resolutions that may advance to the state level
• Participate in the grassroots process that guides the priorities of the Republican Party of Texas
