MISSION STATEMENT

The Concerned Citizens of South Texas is a group of conservative, liberty-minded individuals with a mission to provide South Texas voters a source of useful information, untarnished by “politics as usual” that serve to undermine our Nation. In the spirit of our Founding Fathers, who penned and signed the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, we endeavor to educate ourselves and take personal responsibility for keeping our Government in check.

As George Washington said, “Government is not reason, it is not eloquence—it is force! Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master; never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.”

In the past many of us have not followed through on our responsibility to see that government does its responsibility to the constituency. We aim to help change that through education and holding true to the principles that founded this nation. We hope you find our materials helpful and informative.
